By accessing and using Computer Network Checker ("the Service"), you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Computer Network Checker provides free online network diagnostic tools including IP geolocation, DNS lookup, subnet calculation, ping and traceroute testing, and port checking. The tools are provided as-is for informational and diagnostic purposes.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the tools to scan, probe, or test systems you do not own or have explicit authorization to test
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse protections, or security measures
  • Use the Service as part of any automated system, bot, or scraper without prior written permission
  • Use the Service to facilitate any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service

3. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Network diagnostic results are informational only. IP geolocation is approximate and based on registration data. Ping, traceroute, and port-check results reflect conditions at the time of the test from our infrastructure and may not represent your own network path or experience.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Computer Network Checker and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages resulting from reliance on diagnostic results, service interruptions, or data inaccuracies.

5. Rate Limiting and Access

We enforce rate limits to ensure fair access and prevent abuse. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary or permanent restriction of access. We reserve the right to block any IP address or user that we determine is abusing the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Computer Network Checker name, logo, design, and original content are the property of Computer Network Checker and its operators. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of any content on the Service is prohibited without prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Data

The Service may display data obtained from third-party sources, including geolocation databases and DNS servers. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of third-party data.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
