  • To perform lookups: IP addresses and domain names you enter are processed to perform the requested DNS queries, ping tests, port checks, or geolocation lookups. Results are returned to your browser and not stored.
  • Rate limiting: Your IP address is temporarily used to enforce rate limits and prevent abuse. This data is not persisted to permanent storage.
  • IP geolocation: Geolocation lookups are performed using internal databases. Your IP address is not shared with third-party geolocation services during normal operation.

Third-Party Services

IP geolocation is performed using internal databases. In rare cases where internal databases are temporarily unavailable, a fallback lookup may be performed through an external geolocation provider. No other third-party services receive your data during normal operation.

Data Retention

We do not persistently store any user data. Rate-limiting counters are held temporarily in memory and are regularly cleared. Server access logs are maintained by our hosting infrastructure under standard data retention practices.

Security

All traffic to Computer Network Checker is encrypted via HTTPS. We employ industry-standard security practices to protect against unauthorized access, misuse, and abuse of our services.

Children

Computer Network Checker is a general-purpose network utility service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our Service, please contact us so we can address the situation.
